Nine months after introducing the Xserve as a 1 GHz server, Apple bumped performance with one or two 1.33 GHz processors, a 167 MHz system bus, and Ultra ATA/133 support. The newer Xserve also includes FireWire 800 ports.
Xserve supports up to 720 GB of internal storage, one or two 1.33 GHz G4 CPUs, dual gigabit ethernet, RAID, hot swappable drives, and remote management while running Mac OS X Server.
For those who want to use Xserve as a workstation, Apple offers the high performance ATI Radeon 8500 4x AGP video card and all the G4 power they're used to.
Xserve includes an unlimited user license for Mac OS X Server.
