Cortland

Cortland (a type of Apple) is Joshua Coventry's column about computer history, especially Apple and the Macintosh. Coventry, a student in the United Kingdom, has studied Apple for years and enjoys writing about the lesser-known Apple related topics. His current computer is a 17" iMac Core Duo with 1 GB of RAM. He also has some vintage Apple gear including a Mac Classic, several Newtons, an eMate, a PowerBook 540c, and a PB 5300cs.

• Apple's growing success, 2002-2006, 2006.10.27. By 2002, Apple was on a solid footing. Since then, the iPod has become even more popular, and now Mac market share is on the climb.
